Bell, Anissa

I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication. After several years of working in a very different career, I returned to school to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counselor Education/Mental Health Counseling. I originally started this journey in Florida, but moved to California in 2010 and I am licensed to practice in the state of California. I have over eleven years of experience working in various treatment settings, including both residential and outpatient programs. This has allowed me to develop a broad range of experience in the mental health field, particularly in collaborating with clients to assess their clinical needs and plan a course of treatment that is most aligned with current goals. My clinical experience has also included a position as Director of Admissions for several years at a holistic-based residential facility, and Program Director for over three years at an integrative outpatient center. In these various roles, I provided therapy services to patients and families, and also supervised other clinicians treating patients with severe mental health and addiction issues.
