Dr. Michelle Drerup is director of the Behavioral Sleep Medicine Program at Cleveland Clinic's Sleep Disorders Center.  Dr. Drerup has been in practice since 2007 and certified in Behavioral Sleep Medicine by AASM (2008).  The main focus of her practice has been treating patients with insomnia with comorbid medical and psychiatric disorders.  In addition, she also sees patients with circadian rhythm disorders, nightmare disorder, PAP non-compliance and hypersomnias.  She is director of the Behavioral Sleep Medicine post-doctoral fellowship program and additionally provides training and education in the area of behavioral sleep medicine to psychiatric residents and sleep medicine fellows at the Cleveland Clinic.  Her research interests include exploring the feasibility and effectiveness of internet delivered CBT-I to patient with insomnia who have comorbid medical conditions especially neurological disorders including multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease.
