I am currently a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist working at Nystrom and Associates in Moorhead, MN, serving the Fargo-Moorhead area as well as the state of Minnesota via tele-medicine to meet their mental health needs. I was trained in CBT-I in December of 2020 by Dr. Donn Posner and regularly attend consultation meetings with Dr. Posner as well. Since my training, I have worked with clients who have suffered from Insomnia sometimes for decades to help them improve their sleep and seen significant improvements in many. Using CBT-I, we determine what the cognitive and behavioral factors are that perpetuate sleep problems and how to fix these. It is an intuitive and easily understandable concept and most importantly, a data driven treatment that can show when improvement is achieved.
