Details

For over the past decade, I have been the director of the Behavioral Sleep Medicine Program at Montefiore Medical Center's Sleep-Wake Disorders Center. I am the first-line treatment there for all insomnia and circadian rhythm disorder patients (utilizing CBT-I, light therapy, melatonin, chronotherapy), and also see patients with nightmares, PAP noncompliance, child sleep issues, narcolepsy and other parasomnias. I frequently work with patients who desire to taper off of their sleep aids due to various reasons.

I am an Associate Professor of Neurology and Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. I teach residents, psychology interns and sleep fellows about all areas of behavioral sleep medicine.

In addition to my Montefiore practice, I maintain a private practice in White Plains, NY where I see patients for all behavioral sleep medicine issues as well as providing intensive CBT/ACT for depression and anxiety disorders with adults.
