Our center is dedicated to bringing you evidence-based treatments for a wide variety of life's problems. These include depressionanxiety, and insomnia. We provide effective and compassionate individual and group therapy for men and women.  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a goal-oriented, practical, and collaborative approach that helps patients change their behavior, mood, thoughts, and relationships. Therapists select techniques that are individualized for each client and may include mindfulness, exposure, and experiential exercises.  We rely on CBT-I as our first line of defense for insomnia.

Ms. Heekin specializes in evidenced-based practice for a range of issues, including insomnia, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, generalized anxiety, perinatal and postpartum depression/anxiety, and panic disorder.  She has received expert training in the following treatment models: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy.  Ms. Heekin integrates both Behavioral Activation and Mindfulness components into her therapeutic approach with clients.
