I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in both cognitive behavioral therapy, including CBT-i, and maternal mental health. I treat adults with insomnia, anxiety disorders, and women with prenatal- and postpartum-related concerns including postpartum depression and anxiety disorders. I use evidence-based treatment (meaning therapy that has been proven in quality research studies to be effective), and my approach is solution-focused, collaborative, and supportive.
I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago and completed my last years of clinical training at a public hospital in New York City and at Chase Brexton Health Care in Baltimore, a community health center that provides specialty care to the LGBTQ community. I completed a cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-i) training in 2022.
I have experience treating individuals with a broad range of psychological problems, including mood and anxiety disorders as well as relationship and work concerns. Beyond my work with these individuals, I am passionate about maternal mental health, spanning from preconception to the postpartum period. I have completed the Professional Maternal Mental Health Certificate training from Postpartum Support International as well as other professional courses on infertility and pregnancy.
I volunteer with Maryland Responds Medical Reserve Corps, the state's volunteer disaster response organization, and offer pro bono services through a non-profit organization. I have taught several undergraduate and graduate psychology courses at Roosevelt University and Notre Dame of Maryland University. I also am a member of the Maryland Psychological Association. I live in Baltimore with my husband, two kids, and dog. In my free time, I enjoy reading, doing creative projects, and spending time with friends.
